Jason Sims

Director, Student Service Center

As director of student outreach and special projects, Jason Sims handles student communication campaigns and assists multiple departments with their day-to-day reporting needs and special projects. 

Jason’s professional background includes more than ten years of experience in higher education and leadership roles in academics, admissions, and financial aid. At the Student Resource Center, Jason focuses on creating a smoother enrollment process for students, whether by improving the way students are notified of the enrollment process or completing surveys to understand students’ obstacles during enrollment. Jason relies on his experience and communication and problem-solving skills to streamline the student experience and create open communication channels. 

Since he joined the team in early 2019, his work at the Student Resource Center has allowed him to help many students by listening to their stories and providing personal recommendations for a path forward. Jason takes great satisfaction in his ability to support a wide range of people who complete their degrees for free. 

Jason feels fortunate to have earned his degree while working for a college, avoiding the pitfall and burden of taking out student loans. For Jason, helping students achieve their goals while preventing debt is extremely rewarding. 

Jason holds a degree in organizational management from Argosy University.
